Untamed landscapes, mountain peaks, breathtaking views, wind, weather and the rough sea - that's the Faroe Islands! Follow my journey to these remote islands in the middle of the Atlantic Sea.

In early summer 2017 a friend of mine an me decided to discover the Faroe Islands by foot. When I look back to this adventure, I think of a time full of joy and fascination. It was a great experience to be outdoors with tent and backpack and to roam these incredible islands! We were on the road for two weeks, and even if it was very exhausting with our 18-kg-backpacks, we really enjoyed travelling, sleeping in the tent, eating outdoors and taking long hikes into the unknown ...
